Casey María Eva Duarte Goldberg Calderon is the tritagonist character of Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. She is voiced by Libe Barer.
Background[]
She is Lunella Lafayette's best friend and "manager" who handles her image, and the only one who knows of her identity as Moon Girl.
Physical appearance[]
Casey is a short 13-year-old Puerto-Rican girl with brown skin, long black hair, and noticeably big black eyes. She wears a blue shirt with a white collar, a black belt, and blue shorts with two large pockets in them. Additionally, she has large black shoes with white socks and wears gold hoop earrings.
Trivia[]
- Casey is not from the comics, but she is most likely intended to be an amalgam of Lunella's classmates, particularly Eduardo and Zoe. Ironically, Eduardo appears in the series voiced by Michael Cimino.
- Just like her character, Libe Barer is also of Latina-Jewish heritage. However, her Latina side is Mexican while Casey is of Puerto Rican descent
- Casey has two dads, which makes her the 6th major Disney Television Animation character to be depicted as the child of a same-sex couple, following Willow Park from The Owl House, Violet Sabrewing from the 2017 DuckTales reboot, Maya and KG Leibowitz-Jenkins from The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, and Violet Vega-Vaughn in Firebuds.
