Landry Elizabeth Bender [1] (born August 3, 2000) is an American actress who is best known for her role as Cleo Bernstein in the Disney XD series Crash & Bernstein. She portrayed Cyd Ripley on Best Friends Whenever.
Biography[]
Landry Bender stars as Cyd Ripley, the gutsy, messy yet loveable teen, who along with her best friend, Shelby, gains the power to travel back and forth in time, in Disney Channel’s new buddy comedy “Best Friends Whenever.”
Born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Bender was named after the late legendary Dallas Cowboys coach Tom Landry. She began her acting career at five years old and appeared in theatre productions of “Annie,” “The Sound of Music” and “Beauty and the Beast.” Bender is best known to Disney fans for her co-starring role as fashion-forward middle sister Cleo Bernstein on Disney XD’s live-action comedy “Crash and Bernstein,” and the feature film “The Sitter.”
In her spare time, Bender loves to travel, spend time with her friends and blog about fashion. She also enjoys singing and playing the guitar.
Her first love is Blithe, her English bulldog who she named after her character in “The Sitter.”
Bender currently lives in Los Angeles with her parents, Trey and Amy Bender, who are sports announcers. She has an older brother and older sister whose names are unknown
