Lucas Friar is a native of Austin, Texas, and is a “cowboy in the city.” Lucas has good manners and common sense, which makes him the oddball to everyone except Riley Matthews, who believes that it makes her want to be his friend, even though he's too good looking for her. He's was briefly Riley's love interest.
